Lisa Swerling wrote books with the title, “Happiness Is . . .”
Lisa’s book generated a question, “When will happiness arrive?”
I searched online for the phrase “Happiness arrives when you are” and received three results.
The five-word phrase became my poem that went like this:

Lisa Swerling’s “Happiness Is” generated my idea for the five couplets I wrote.
My couplets are more like a call-and-response style, not the traditional style of couplets.
