Mom's Heartbeat

Relaxing in the womb,
there is plenty of room.

My feet move all about,
then I hear a shout.

Hurry we need to go,
we cannot drive slow.

I’m feeling very dizzy,
someone is in a tizzy.

I want to go back,
and take a nap.

I want to stay,
for another day.

My head is squeezing,
I feel like sneezing.

Something is touching me,
grabbing and pulling me.

The middle of the night,
becomes a bright light.

A towel covers my back,
fingers rubbing to tap.

I just went through a storm.
I’m laid on someone warm,

Here I want to stay,
on my very first day.
